Free Ebooks and Audiobooks

Teen Book Cloud is a database of over 1,000 ebooks. It features fiction, drama, poetry, graphic novels, enhanced e-books with full narration and highlighted text, classic literature, National Geographic videos, and more.

undefinedTumbleBooks tor Kids are animated, talking picture books which teach kids the joy of reading. TumbleBook takes existing picture books, adding animation, sound, music and narration to produce an electronic picture book. You can read it, or have it read to you.

undefinedHoopla allows you to borrow ebooks, audiobooks, movies, music, and TV. Its from Nashua Public Library so you'll need you library card to access it.

Libby / Overdrive  Use your Nashua Public Library card to sign-out ebooks, audiobooks and magazines. Don't have a NPL card? No problem, sign up for a temporary one using the link in the next column. Libby is now available in the following languages: Spanish, Chinese, French, German, Russian, Italian, Japanese and Swedish.

 Unite for Literacy is a digital library for primary learners that's free and easy to use for teachers and families alike. The books are short, colorful, and easy to understand with picture/text format and narration in several languages. New books are added every month.

Nashua Public Library - Need a Library Card?

To make it easy for families who don’t have a Nashua Public Library card, NPL is making it easy to register and get a library card number that will be valid for 90 days.

To register for a new temporary Nashua Public Library card  click here  

You will receive a library card number and pin number that will give you access to many online resources at NPL. This is also a great way to get access to the State of New Hampshire's extensive collection of eBooks either through Overdrive or by using the Libby App.(see the column to the left)

After 90 days NPL will work to get students permanent cards.
