Decade of Change: Roaring 20's Research Procject

How were the 1920's a decade of political, technological, economic and cultural change?

  1. Log into your NoodleBib/NoodleTools account, name your project, select the style and level, then click Submit.
  2. Research your topic by starting with the database Gale in Context: High School.
    • From the results page, concentrate your efforts on the Reference articles or if you are researching a person, focus on the Biography articles.
      • If you have a large number of results, filter them using the options on the right.
      • Export the citations into NoodleBib using the Cite option from the tools menu for each article.
      • Enter the citations as you go along. Don't wait for another day.
  3. Locate additional information in reference books and other books listed on the 1920s Resources page or by using the library catalog.
    • Make photocopies of articles or images from reference books since they cannot be signed out.
  4. Locate images or pictures that highlight your research using a database such as Gale in Context: High School, a book, or a website. Don't forget to cite pictures/images. Ask for assistance if you need it.

Remember:

  • Citations from databases can be exported directly to NoodleTools (the exception is Britannica)
  • Use the Quick Cite (Copy and Paste) to add citations from Britannica.
  • Articles in reference books often have the author's name at the end of the article
  • If you have forgotten your password click the I forgot my password link under the Sign In box.
  • NoodleTools can now cite content created using AI like Chat GPT.
